Basic Salad Dressing
This scales up really well - I recommend making a bigger batch at the weekend to use during the week.
Its a ratio of 1:3 vinegar to oil with other ingredients to taste
Keeps in a sealed jar or container for a week or longer in the fridge.
Great over simple bitter leaf salads to start a meal, stimulate digestion and buffer the effect of carbs on blood sugar.
Ingredients:
1 tbsp raw unfiltered apple cider vinegar (with mother) 3 tbsp extra virgin olive oil (cold pressed)
1/2 tsp dijon mustard
1 garlic clove crushed/minced/diced
Pinch salt Pinch pepper
Optional additions:
Fresh herbs like parsley
Dried herbs like thyme, oregano, mixed herbs Spices such as curry powder, garlic powder, paprika
Method:
Mix all ingredients and store in an airtight container/jar/bottle. Can be kept at room temperature.
