Spiced Seed Mix

I like to make a batch of this to add some healthy fats, fibre and flavour to salads.

I like za’atar mix with beetroot and goats cheese on a bitter leaf salad or ras-el-hanout mix on roast butternut squash, chicken or feta and mixed leaves.

250g mixed seed (sunflower, pumpkin, linseed, chia)

2 tsp olive oil

2 tsp mixed spices (ras-el-hanout mix, za’atar mix, harissa spices, paprika, chilli, coriander, cumin, curry powder, mixed herbs)

1/2 tsp salt

1 tsp honey (optional)

Mix all ingredients together and roast at 180’C for 10-15 minutes.

Store in a sealed container.

Great sprinkled over salads or avocado on toast.
