Simple Snack

First of all, if your hungry between meals it may mean you didn’t have enough protein at your last meal to sustain you. It could also indicate that you’re having a blood sugar ‘crash’ after eating refined carbs.

Have a think if you could make your next meal more balanced by adding some more protein or swapping refined carbs for a complex source that will keep your blood sugar stable and keep you fuller for longer.

For a simple snack rich in antioxidants, protein, healthy fats and fibre try something simple like a handful of nuts, berries, and a square or two of >70% dark chocolate.

Here I’ve grabbed a handful of the low carb granola (see previous recipe https://www.mayknightnutrition.com/recipes/low-carb-granola ) with a few raspberries and a square of 80% dark chocolate.
